Hi all! My real name is Sean(y) Markey, I’m 24 years old and am currently hiking the Appalachian Trail (AT). The AT is 2,193 miles (according to the ATC) and stretches from Springer Mt. in Georgia to Mount Katahdin in Maine. Before jumping on the trail, I was working as a Field Engineer for a company that specializes in the geotechnical investigations of wind and solar projects. Ever since I heard about the AT, this crazy stupid idea to spend 5-7 months hiking through the Appalachian Mountains has been calling my name.
